 Mission Sponsor ($25,000) This level of donation supports a medium size team for one mission. Typically this would consist of approximately five surgeons, two nurses, and administrator/planner and translators overseas for seven to ten days. It includes economy airfare for team members, room and board, and shipment of medical supplies and equipment. Surgeons Sponsor ($15,000) This level of donation supports a team of surgeons – usually about – for a seven to ten day mission. This would include economy class airfare, room and board and shipment of their medical supplies and equipment. Nurses Sponsor ($7,500) This level of donation supports a team of two or three nurses for a seven to ten day mission. The nurses are specialized in the areas of operations of children being treated. They assist the surgical team and also teach local nurses about contemporary nursing practice. Education Sponsor ($2500) This level of donation supports a Canadian surgeon to travel overseas for one week to perform demonstration operations and teach advanced surgical techniques. It would also support a foreign surgeon to visit North America for one week to observe surgical procedures and patient care here. Medical Sponsor ($1000) This level of donation supports the purchase and shipping of specialized medical supplies and equipment necessary for the mission. For example, microplating equipment for craniofacial surgery and ocular lasers have been utilized on previous missions. Sir William Osler Legacy Society This Society would include those who have made lifetime gifts to the Canadian Foundation which reach the following levels of support: Endowment Founder $1,000,000 Endowment Patron $500,000 Endowment Benefactor $250,000 Endowment Contributor $50,000 Endowment Sustainer $25,000 Endowment Supporter $5,000 Long-Term Endowment Face to Face Russia $1,000,000 endowment over a 3-year period. Face to Face Africa $1,000,000 endowment over a 3-year period. Face to Face South America $1,000,000 endowment over a 3-year period. *Notwithstanding the above levels of support, the Canadian Foundation for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery would be pleased to create a giving program for a donor with special interests.
